A HISTORIC SPACE, REVITALIZED FOR ALL
The Lenox Meeting House is beloved and well-maintained — and underused. It’s time to expand the circle of caretakers and audiences by recalling the original intent of the building: as a Meeting House for the community.

We envision a future where the Meeting House once again serves as an affordable, accessible “people’s house” — a place not only for Sunday worship but for community gatherings, large and small, public and personal. This historic building offers great potential to benefit the wider community as a venue for concerts, meetings, cultural events, classes, and performances. Few other venues are as affordable for permanent residents, and even fewer combine the Meeting House’s historical significance, beauty, and exceptional acoustics.

WHY NOW?
For more than 220 years, the Meeting House has stood as a landmark of connection and civic life. But over time, accessibility challenges, outdated infrastructure, and seasonal limitations have made it difficult to use year-round. Today, we have an opportunity to change that.

Our multi-phase restoration plan, already underway, is modernizing and reimagining the Meeting House while preserving its character and charm. The result will be a vibrant, inclusive community space ready to host everything from community dinners to music festivals.
