On Saturday, October 18, The Birch Festival returned to the Meeting House.

It could not have been a lovelier fall day and the music could not have been more phenomenal.

The program, entitled Bold Beginnings featured Amit Peled on cello, Roman Rabinovich on piano, and Yevgeny Kutik on violin, longtime friends who were happy to be in musical conversation with one another.

Music performed will be L.V. Beethoven's Piano Trio Op. 1 No. 3, Gaspar Cassadò's Requiebros in D Major, Sergey Rachmaninov 's Prelude Op. 23 No. 5, and Johannes Brahms' Piano Trio No. 1 in B Major, Op. 8.

The day began with an open rehearsal at 10:30 AM, which lasted over an hour. There we could watch as the musicians worked through ideas about interpretation.
The performance itself was at 4 PM, a total delight in all possible ways.
