About the event
Please join us for a neighborhood gathering and get introduced to Friends of the Lenox Meeting House (FLMH) and enjoy some neighborhood sociability.
Friends of the Lenox Meeting House, a non-religious organization, was formed by the congregation of Church on the Hill to accept tax deductible contributions to achieve three goals;
Preservation - Fund preservation of the 220 year-old Meeting House
Accessibility - Make the Meeting House available in the coldest mongths, create a handicapped bathroom and make all levels available.
Community - Open the Meeting House to cultural and community events by adding a kitchenette, improving the lighting. and replacing the current seating with movable pews.
There will be a brief talk on the history of the Meeting House and light refreshments.
